With so many people fearing 2012, here's some great news to lift your spirits and your hoofin' feet -- and it's a great sign for a great revival year on Broadway: Anything Goes has announced an extension until January 8, 2012.

Starring the belt-tastic Sutton Foster as "Reno Sweeney" and ever-precocious Joel Grey as the Puck-ish "Moonface Martin," this revival has all the bells and whistles (and memorable songs and syncopated tap dancing) that make Musical Theatre great! But now, it's not just for the summer touristy crowds -- you can see it on your Thanksgiving vacation, too.

With a classic American score by Cole Porter, Anything Goes is directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winning Kathleen Marshall and plays at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre located at 124 West 43rd Steet. For more info and tickets, visit the Anything Goes website.

Get out your love-beads, and don't you dare cut your long, glorious tresses! Hair is coming back to Broadway to spread its hippie message during 2011's "Summer of Love."

The Public Theater is bringing the Tony Award-winning revival back to the Great White Way beginning July 13, 2011, and running until September 10th at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). Even better news is that the Broadway and touring cast will return in their roles as well.

Cameron Mackintosh's 'Betty Blue Eyes' Is Hot to "Trot" in London

It's Opening Night for the cutest pig in London's West End. Les Miz's Cameron Mackintosh has embarked upon his first new musical in over a decade, and rather than tackle huge historical events, he has scaled his sights down to a small musical comedy surrounding the fate of a porcine leading "lady."

Based on the film A Private Function, "Betty Blue Eyes" is a pig being raised illegally to be the centerpiece for an upcoming royal wedding. A central plot of the rich having their own rules while the masses must obey unfair laws seems similar in theme to Les Miz. But "Betty Blue Eyes" is surely cuter than rapscallion French revolutionaries.

Betty Blue Eyes is produced by Mackintosh and directed by Richard Eyre, with music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. The show opens tonight at the Novello Theatre in London. For tickets, visit the show's website.
