The US Postal Service (USPS) has announced that most postage rates will increase in April 2011. But hold on. The rate for the good old First-Class stamp will remain at 44 cents. What's in a name? A nationwide recall, if the name of your candy happens to be Toxic Waste brand Nuclear Sludge Chew Bars. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced on January 13, that all lots in all flavors of the prophetically-named candy bars, imported from Pakistan, had been recalled by their Indianapolis-based distributor after elevated levels of lead were found in the product. The recalled candy was found to contain 0.24 parts per million of lead, far above the 0.01 parts per million allowed by the FDA.
