iLearn: Your game - sport for development

How we work

Your game – sport for development website
Yourgame2010.com served as a 'training ship' for youth workers learning media skills and radio journalists who attended the UK Sport 'Next Steps' sports for development conference in Namibia in November 2007.

Prior to the event, trainees completed iLearn courses; a second round of training followed the event.

This included modules on 'Sports reporting', 'Sport for development' and 'Media skills for NGO teams', as well as modules on journalism and specialist reporting.

The images, articles, audio and blog entries on the site have been produced by a mix of trainees and mentors from BBC Sport.

Through this 'controlled UGC', conference themes continue to be discussed and disseminated many months after the event itself.
