In a difficult economic climate, towns and cities across America are hoping to attract Chinese investment in order to help provide much-needed jobs.

But is the American business community overlooking concerns over human rights in China in the bid to attract this investment?

Not according to Carrie Zethmayr, Director of International Relations of the Economic Development Council of Rockford, Illinois.
