Is this the golden age of television news?
A question put to each member of the panel at this Journalism Programme/Frontline Club event.
Peter Horrocks, Director of BBC Global News, Ben Cohen, technology correspondent for Channel 4 News, Greg Beitchman of Reuters and Sky's Simon Bucks joined Matt Wells of the Guardian for the discussion.
They all spoke about the expansion of TV news across the globe and agreed it could be the golden age of news distribution, but that questions remain about the balance of quality and quantity.
