Who knew Elton John's 1970's ballad 'Don't Let the Sun Go Down On Me would ring true some thirty plus years later.

Just in case you missed it last night the Celtics got hammered by the Phoenix Suns last night to the tune of 88-71.

Doc River got tossed out in the second quarter and was joined by Kevin Garnett in the fourth quarter in what turned out to be the Celtics most forgettable loss of the season.

My colleague here at MassLive.com Nick Underhill runs down some of the sad fact and figures in his game story this morning.

This game is just one of the topics we'll discuss on today's edition of the 'Saturday Sports Spectacular' on ESPN 1450.

Click on this link to listen live as Russ Held from the Springfield Republican, John 'The Dude' from the Average Joe Show, and me sit down this morning to discuss the sports issues of the day.

We'll be joined by Josh Maurer, the play-by-play voice of the UMass Minutemen, to talk about another busy weekend on the UMass calendar.

So make sure to join us starting at 9AM this morning for the 'Saturday Sports Spectacular' on ESPN 1450 'The Hall'.
