Since 2003, the Open Society Justice Initiative has been on the ground in Cambodia to monitor developments, raise local and international awareness, and provide technical assistance to the tribunal set up to prosecute Khmer Rouge leaders.

Mobile Gender Justice Court
The Open Society Justice Initiative has designed a court focused on gender crimes that travels to remote, war-torn regions in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

International Criminal Court
The Open Society Justice Initiative is helping the International Criminal Court provide fair trials, protect victims and witnesses, listen to communities on the ground, and end impunity around the world.

Special Court for Sierra Leone
With the Charles Taylor trial taking place far from West Africa, the Open Society Justice Initiative connects Sierra Leoneans and Liberians with information, analysis, and a space for discussion through CharlesTaylorTrial.org.
