Iberdrola plans US wind

Iberdrola Renewables has filed a permit application with the North Carolina Utilities Commission for the development of a wind power project in Pasquotank and Perquimans counties. Construction on the 300MW Desert Wind project is expected to start later this year. The project would be Iberdrola’s first in the US.
