Last week, after 12 years of service, Michael Williams announced his resignation from the Railroad Commission of Texas, effective April 2. In his own words:

Response to FWST editorial re: Sunset Commission report on the Railroad Commission

Recently, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram published an editorial regarding the Sunset Commission staff report on the Railroad Commission of Texas. I agree with much that is in the report. However, there were two areas they highlighted that I feel need to be addressed.
