Undergraduate Admissions
Undergraduates are not admitted directly into the Government Department. Prospective students must apply to the College. Once admitted to the College, students interested in studying government declare a major or minor.

Our PhD programs
The Department of Government offers PhDs in four fields – American Government, Comparative Government, Political Theory, and International Relations. For information on the program requirements for each of these programs, please refer to the Graduate Program Handbook.
