Dr. Arun Kapil was mandated by the US Department of State's Africa Regional Services in to do a series of digital video conferences about the new Obama administration. The ten conferences where held during the month of January with audiences in African and Carribean capitals: Casablanca in Morocco, Tunis in Tunisia, Monrovia in Liberia, Bamako in Mali, Lusaka in Zambia, Kampala in Uganda, Conakry in Guinea, Tananarive in Madagascar, Port-Louis in Mauritius, and Port-au Prince in Haiti.
