    UN urges restraint in deadly Thai-Cambodian clashes

    Prime Minister-designate Marouf Bakhit has recently disclosed that he intended to ease restrictions in the controversial law on holding public rallies and peaceful assembly, with a view to making it legal to hold public gatherings without prior permission from the authorities.
