A 3D version of the indie wonder-game,
Cave Story, is coming to the Nintendo 3DS. Have you forgotten? Hopefully, news about the game's release date and box art will perk your memory and your mood.
Here's the box art for
Cave Story 3D. Note the warning that states the image isn't finalized, but what we get is likely to be very similar, or identical:
And finally, the release date: August 9. Save those pennies.
Don't forget that the original (2D)
Cave Story is
also available as a DSiWare game.

Dragon Quest V: Hand of the Heavenly Bride, which I still heartily recommend as one of the
best RPGs the Nintendo DS has to offer, has been
re-stocked at Amazon! If you've had trouble hunting down the game 'til now, this is your ultimate triumph. Enjoy it.

Now that we're all in a
Pokemon mood, let's take a quick look at a recent rumor about a possible new
Pokemon game on the horizon.
Last week, Dengeki, a Japanese Nintendo magazine, made a claim that a
Pokemon title will be coming soon. The claim was worded a bit fuzzily, as it made reference to new upcoming "[Pokemon] Black and White information" that will be coming in the July issue, which is to be released in May. (Note that it's very possible that the actual announcement might come from a source other than Dengeki.)
What kind of
Pokemon game might we be looking at here? It's still a bit too early for the upgraded follow-up to
Pokemon Black/White (which fans are speculating will be called
Pokemon Grey), as
Pokemon Platinum followed up
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl a couple of years after the former two games' release. It's most likely we'll be hearing about a spin-off game in the vein of
Pokemon Rangers or
Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon.
Or maybe, just maybe, we'll hear about a Nintendo 3DS
Pokemon title? Heck, we can dream!

A dedicated Japanese
Pokemon fan nicknamed "Jippe" has put together an impressive piece of work: A family portrait consisting of all 646 Pokemon. That includes the new kids from
Pokemon Black/White!
The image is utterly huge: Take a look at it on
Kotaku. For lots more
Pokemon fun, visit
Jippe's website. The site's text is mostly Japanese, but heck, the sense of fun is universal.
