A new web tool has just come to my attention - and it's going to be big!
Thinglink is a relatively new web tool for publishers - and is created for: "any website or blog that allows Javascript: e.g. Blogger, TypePad, Tumblr, or your own WordPress installation." (Quoted from ThingLink.com) And the tags use standard JavaScript - so no compatibility issues either.

A thinglink is an interactive hotspot you define inside an image, from a thing (an object, a person, or a place) to a link (a shop, a blog post, or anywhere you like).
Why is it going to be big?
Because now publishers can monetize photos with product links, affiliate links or direct links to websites. If you have a popular site/blog you should check them out. Its a great way to add depth to your current content - and to create new revenue streams.

If you are running multiple blogs, using a centralized dashboard can be very useful. And Adobe Contribute is a great option.
The program works great. That is, of course, unless you are using a self-hosted WordPress installation. If this describes you, then you'll have trouble connecting your blog to Contribute CS5, without this great little hack.
