The good news is that US Homeland Security agents provided an "acceptable level of security" along 32 miles of the US-Canadian border in 2010, according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The bad news is that they didn't do so well along the other 3,968 miles. Fact is, noted the GAO there is little, if any law enforcement presence along 99% of the rugged 4,000 mile-long Canadian border. [Learn more...]
