Man hospitalized with critical injuries after shooting in city's Parklane area

A 20-year-old man was in critical condition after being shot in the chest Sunday afternoon in northern Baltimore, police said.

The man was in the 2900 block of Edgecombe Circle South, in the Parklane area, shortly before 4:30 p.m. when he was approached by one or more suspects, who pulled out a handgun and shot him, according to police.

The man managed to run a few hundred feet to the 3000 block of Wylie Ave., where police found him. He was taken to an area hospital.

Police had no suspects in the shooting.
