The Institutes at Georgetown, part of the Summer Programs for High School Students, offer high school students an eight-day immersion into one of five subject areas; law, science, politics, business, and arts and humanities. Students can explore possible future career paths, for example, in medicine, environmental science, or congressional affairs.

Students have the unique opportunity to study at Georgetown and live in Washington, DC—the heart of politics, museums, media, medicine, law, humanities, and culture—which will not only prepare them for college and a career but will also give them a taste of the college experience.
