Thanks to new snowfall throughout Europe, last month's dry spell is now becoming a distant memory.

New snow has totally transformed Europe. Switzerland in particular is reveling in new snow with several resorts receiving around half a metre of new snow over the weekend. Whilst powder has not been a regular feature this season, the off-piste has been replenished nicely and there are some good stashes of powder to be found.

In France the slopes have been greatly refreshed. After the busy half term period the new snow has repaired some of the wear and tear and there are some excellent riding opportunities to be found. The lower resorts have been greatly improved too and the artificial snow cover on resort runs has been covered by a layer of fresh snow.

Italy has also seen some good snowfall including a 51cm dump in Madonna di Campiglio. Many resorts were experiencing snowfall on Monday 28th February which was creating some periods of poor visibility but once the cloud and snow clears there will be some fantastic snow to be found.

Austria also received a top up of snow over the weekend. The conditions on the glaciers are particularly good and this is where the most snow has fallen. Sunny weather is forecast but temperatures will remain below freezing so the snow should stay in good shape.

At Big White in Canada, 20cm fell. Other resorts received fresh snow as well including Sun Peaks, Silver Star and Red Mountain. A snowy week ahead is forecast as well.

Utah was the place to be in America over the weekend. Park City and The Canyons both received nearly a metre of fresh snow.
