• What was your title when you first joined our Company?
• Financial analyst. It was a great place to start because I was able to make all kinds of contributions to the Company, like sharing ideas to generate additional revenues or ways to save on costs. As a result, I got more responsibilities and more opportunities. It was fun!
• What brought you to our Company?
• I was on Wall Street and wanted to make a change. I looked around at various profitable companies in and around New York. What attracted me to About.com was its culture and the people, who are smart and driven. So I did my research. I realized that the business model is one of the best in this industry.
• What makes working at our Company so special?
• There are all kinds of people who work here. While some have been here for a short time, some have been here for several years. That impresses me. It means employees enjoy what they do, like being a part of this organization and want to contribute to its success. That’s special.
• What have you learned working at our Company?
• I came from a very competitive industry that taught me a lot of things, yet there was one set of skills I wanted to know more about. I wanted to learn how to work with and manage people effectively. Here I’ve gotten that experience. I’ve learned to work with a team and I’ve helped others to set and achieve important goals that have helped make our organization more profitable. I feel a real sense of accomplishment.
