Europe continues to receive good snowfall and the conditions are improving week on week. Italy, Switzerland and France are looking particularly good at the moment thanks to snow that fell earlier this week.

Italy is experiencing some of the best conditions in Europe at the moment. There have been lots of powder days this week and some resorts received upwards of 60cm in a single day. More is forecast too so the great skiing shouldn't disappear any time soon.

France has been greatly improved this week. The lower slopes that were suffering a little in some resorts have finally received some significant snow which has really improved the look and feel of the pistes.

Switzerland is reporting excellent conditions both on and off piste. While the sought after powder was tracked out in a matter of days, there are still the off pitches of soft snow to be found and piste skiing is excellent.

Austria also has some great conditions at the moment. The glacier resorts are the place to be though and it's here where the snow is at its best.

More snow is forecast across Europe this week and it's hard to believe that there was ever a shaky period early on in the season since the region has been receiving regular snowfall.

Nearly a metre of fresh snow is expected in California which should make for an awesome weekend there. Elsewhere in the US it's been fairly dry but the skiing is great.

Canada has had more of the snow. The Ski Club Leader in Fernie reported amazing powder days after nearly a metre of fresh snow this week.
