Vanderbilt University is launching an Americas MBA. The degree is being jointly offered with Brazil's FIA Business School, ITAM in Mexico and Simon Fraser University in Canada. Students on the two year programme will split their time between the four countries.
Khamis Qaddafi has been kicked out of Spain's IE Business School, where he was styudying for an MBA. The son of the Libyan leader and the commander of the Khamis brigade, is currently fighting to wrest back control of parts of country for his father. He was reportedly due to start an internship in America this week.
Alison Davis-Blake has been named as the new dean of Michigan's Ross School of Business. Ms Davis-Blake, currently in charge of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management, will take up her new position in August.
