WMO's online art gallery

4 seasons Since time immemorial, nature has been a source of inspiration for humankind. Weather, climate and water provide artists with infinite and sometimes dramatic opportunities to express themselves; whether they employ paint, stone, camera or any other medium, the results can be breathtaking. Encouraged by the work of artists such as Hans Erni, photographer Christian Morel, as well as youngsters from around the planet, WMO established an online art gallery to showcase their talents and please the eye.

WMO Calendar 2011: Climate variability and change is with us. Getting climate information to the people is our best option to cope with its challenges and seize its opportunities.
