PR is many years ahead of the Dominican Republic.

You obviously are not intimately familiar with PR or the Dominican Republic if you are going to make that sweeping statement.

DR certainly has it's charms and advantages. However, PR has theirs as well. We are part of the USA. That alone is a huge factor.

Technologically speaking we are on par with any state in the union.

Yes, there are plenty of PR living in the DR. Many retirees, especially.

Also many Dominicans who were born in PR and who have returned with their families to the DR. There are many Dominicans of Puerto rican descent who largely settled in the Eastern portion of the island in the early part of the 20 century. Especially Higuey.

After Europeans. PR's bring the most significant amount of tourist dollars to the island nation of the Dominican Republic. PR's are attracted by the short plain ride and good package deals for quick 4 day weekends or sometimes more on DR's beautiful and all inclusive beach resorts. A totally diffrent tourist formula then Puerto Rico's model.

DR has many advantages over PR in tourism. Although PR has its pluses over DR as well in the tourist scene. We offer every kind of sport and vacation for every budget and have some "fantastic scenery" and well maintained roads especially if one wants to explore the island and not relegate themselves to staying in a complex for much of their visit as one would do in the DR.

Please people there is a small amount of Rican's in DR. There is a lot of poverty in DR you must stay in the tourist area. You do have a good time to party but you must come to grip. Nothing personal but guarding "la isla del encanto" The growing population is our brothers "Los Haitianos que dies Los vendiga" I hope that DR welcomes the Haitian people like Puerto Rico has. love and peace like god said there must be in earth.

Daily Horoscope for March 16

Pisces

Take care how you handle things today. It's important not to become obsessed with one matter, so focused in on the tiny detail that you can't see the broad picture. If you look too deeply into a work situation, you may end up getting a bit gloomy. Widen the scope of your interests and promise yourself to be less emotional.
