  • Theater Program

    The Georgetown Theater and Performance Studies Program integrates creative and critical inquiry, emphasizing artistic excellence, interdisciplinary learning, socially engaged performance and the spirit of collaboration. Now offering a dynamic major in theater and performance studies, the program features a nationally recognized faculty, including a number of the field’s leading scholar-artists and many of the region's leading professional theater practitioners.

  • Theology, Department of

    The Theology Department comprises about 30 full-time faculty members who specialize in Christian thought, tradition, religious ethics and a broad range of other historical religious traditions. The significant strength of research and teaching in Catholic theology reflects Georgetown's Jesuit identity and its mission of advancing and practicing its learned traditions. The department has a broad range of methodological approaches to the study of religion, including the social, scientific, historical and literary perspectives.

  • Transplant Institute, Georgetown

    The Transplant Institute and International Center for Liver Diseases at Georgetown University Hospital is the area's best answer to the evaluation and treatment of advanced liver disease, chronic kidney disease and intestinal disorders.   • Trauma and the Community, Center for

    The Georgetown Center for Trauma and the Community is an interdisciplinary center dedicated to the study of trauma in community settings. Its primary focus is on developing and testing the effectiveness of innovative and sustainable mental health-related interventions for low-income women and their families who have experienced trauma.

  • Tumor Biology Program

    The tumor biology program is the only NIH-funded cancer research education program in Washington, D.C. The faculty includes some of the nation's top cancer researchers, who are conducting basic and translational research within the context of the fully-integrated Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
