Bill Paterson is back as Arthur Conan Doyle's scientific adventurer. The Professor and his sidekick, Peerless Jones, pay a visit to Latvian scientist, Theodore Nemor. They must investigate rumours that Nemor has created a Disintegration Machine which hostile foreign powers are keen to acquire. Dramatised by Robert Lloyd Parry and also starring Gunnar Cauthery and Joanna Monro.
