Japan nuclear: Life in the exclusion zone

Hundreds of lives were lost in the northern Japanese city of Minamisoma in the earthquake and tsunami.

The city is now caught in the 20km exclusion zone surrounding the Fukushima nuclear power plant.

The operation to bring relief and repair to Minamisoma is going slowly, as the mayor of the town, Katsunobu Sakurai, told the BBC's Tim Franks.
