Perhaps years spent turning up sofa cushions in college for change left their mark. Or you're a responsible person who doesn't like to waste money. Maybe you're just flat out cheap.
Whatever the reason, Amazon is sweetening the e-reader pot for you with a cheaper Kindle. Then again, there's a wee, itty-bitty catch: advertising. Now, I'm not the biggest fan of advertising rearing its head in my electronics. But I must admit that the Kindle implementation is ... interesting.

As a wee, little bookworm, I remember how excited I was the first time I got a library card.
"You mean I can borrow any of these books anytime I want? Sweet!"
These days, there's a new kid in the block, er, aisle: the e-book. Now before you start start yelling, "Get off my lawn," just step back, squeeze a stress ball or two, and take a deep breath.
Good.
Now go ahead and read our latest tutorial, "How to Borrow or Download E-Books From a Public Library." It's easy-peasy macaroni. Whatever the heck that means.

Either someone plucked a piece of J.K. Rowling's hair and is impersonating her via a Polyjuice potion or the author has seen the light of a Patronus.
That's because it sounds like the author of the popular Harry Potter books just might be ready to finally OK e-book versions of her magical work. The rumor is certainly setting the muggle world abuzz with anticipation.
