Provides an AddThis.com button or toolbox to let your users share your content to social network sites.
What is AddThis?
Launched in September 2006, AddThis is the #1 bookmarking and sharing button on the Internet. AddThis has become the standard button for bookmarking and sharing. The AddThis button spreads your content across the Web by making it easier for your visitors to bookmark and share it with other people, again…and again…and again. This simple yet powerful button is very easy to install and provides valuable Analytics about the bookmarking and sharing activity of your users. AddThis helps your visitors create a buzz for your site and increase its popularity and ranking. (source: addthis.com)
AddThis 6.x-3.x has been restored to active development without the auxilary helper modules created in the initial 6.x-3.x commit. Users of any 6.x-3.x-dev release prior to December 13, 2010 should disable and uninstall the auxiliary modules and completely remove the old "addthis" module directory before replacing it with the latest snapshot release.
AddThis 4.0 will be only implemented to Drupal 7 and it will be a field. Developers can test current CVS HEAD for working, but incomplete version. More about this on a recent blog post.
#D7CX: Addthis module will have a full Drupal 7 release on the day that Drupal 7 is released.
Development of the 6.x-3.x branch is sponsored by Triangle Park Creative.
Development of the 7.x branch is sponsored by Mearra.
