30 perks of living in a college town
Sure, living in the midst of tens of thousands of students can have its drawbacks. Loud, late, and loutish, they still drive nicer cars than yours. But there are perks, too -- secret ones, in some cases, behind all that ivy-covered brick. Singular (and sometimes singularly weird) academic riches the likes of which exist for people nowhere else. And sensitive to the whole town-gown thing, if not because of it, your neighborhood university or college wants to share them with you, along with other services you didn't know they provide.
