Greg Mortenson, the author of Three Cups of Tea, an inspirational book on building schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan, has come under fire are his non-profit agency was accused of mismanaging funds.

The investigative CBS programme, 60 Minutes, has also questioned the truth of certain key elements in the book, including the claim made by Mortenson that he was kidnapped by the Taliban in 1996.
