Moussa on Mubarak: Justice is being served

Presidential candidate Amr Moussa said Wednesday that the questioning of former president Hosni Mubarak and his two sons on charges of corruption and instigation against demonstrators of the January 25 Revolution "proves that nobody is above the law."

In press statements, Moussa, the outgoing secretary-general of the Arab League, stated that "justice is being served."

Moussa added that the demands of the January 25 Revolution are being met and the time has come for "all of us to move forward and to work on rebuilding a strong economy, firm security and active policy."

He supports the questioning on the basis that the "firm and fair" application of the law is the guarantee that justice prevails.

Mubarak in Jail

me too I live in a country lets call it Democratic, Amr Moussa was the one who pledged that we should not trail Mubarak , wow very quick he changes and this man should be our president, Mubaraks Crimes was shown on the TV to the World, andd this was only a sampel, so get hin in prison before they are escaping'

Justice is being served?

I do not live in Egypt but in a democratic and free country a person is considered innocent until proven guilty. While investigation is being conducted, there may be no need to put the person in jail, whether he is a president, his son or a any other citizen. You do not need to go far ... just look at Israel where the former president was only arrested when the guilty verdict was annouced. Look at Ivory Coast where the former president is treated with diginty and will be questioned by the International court. '
