Medical evacuation helicopter crashes

An authorized source at the Ministry of Defense announced today that a medical evacuation helicopter (an affiliate of the Armed Forces Medical Services) crashed Friday some 35 kilometers south of Riyadh in Al-Hair Province, while on a medical evacuation mission to rescue a patient in Hotat Bani Tamim. The entire crew, comprised of Pilot Khalid bin Juluwi bin Abdullah Al-Dikhail, Assistant Lieutenant Pilot Mandeel bin Falih bin Bani Al-Sibaiei, Dr. Amjad Al-Iraqi, an Egyptian national and a Filipina nurse named Rosella, was killed. The relevant authorities have opened an investigation into the accident.
