Arab League Council demands no-fly zone over Gaza

April 11, 2011

Following a meeting in Cairo yesterday, the Arab League Council demanded that the world community impose a no-fly zone over the Gaza Strip to protect its civilians from Israeli Air Force attacks. The organization authorized the Arab group at the United Nations to formally ask the Security Council to convene immediately in order to deliberate on Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip, put an end to the blockade of Gaza, and impose a no-fly zone over the territory.
