Reggie Aggarwal, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Reggie Aggarwal is a noted leader in Washington's high-tech and association communities. He is the CEO and Founder of Cvent, a profitable venture-backed CRM software company with 800+ employees. Cvent has quickly grown to be the largest event management software company in the country, organizing over 275,000 events for over 7,500+ customers in 40 countries such as KPMG, Hilton and Siemens.

Reggie was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® 2009 in the Greater Washington area. Washingtonian Magazine named him to its 2011 list of the 100 Tech Titans of Washington. Forbes Magazine called him one of the rising stars of Washington. Washington Business Forward magazine named him to its list of the Washington, D.C.'s 40 most influential business leaders, along with the CEOs of Nasdaq, AOL, and Marriott. MeetingNews, the largest magazine in the industry, named him as one of the 25 most influential people in the $100 billion dollar meetings industry. He was also appointed by the Governor of Virginia to be Chairman of the Chief Information Officers Advisory Commission. In addition, Cvent was selected by the Washington Business Journal as one of the 50 Best Places to Work in Greater Washington from 2009 to 2011.

Reggie is the Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Indian CEO High Tech Council (now the DC Chapter of TiE), described by the Washington Post as "maybe the singularly most successful association in the past decade." The group has grown from 75 to over 4,500 CEO's and Senior Executives in under 4 years.

He has been featured in over 100 articles including Business Week, USA Today, Forbes, and the Washington Post. He has appeared on ABC News, CBS News, NBC News and CNN's "Moneyline with Lou Dobbs" as an authority on meetings and technology. In addition, Reggie served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, Inova Healthcare System, and the DC Chamber of Commerce. He was also on the Global Board of Trustees of TiE as well as Sales and Marketing Executive International.

Reggie was the Student Body Vice President at the University of Virginia, Class President at Washington and Lee Law School, and President of Georgetown's Graduate Law School. He graduated with a BS from the University of Virginia, a JD from Washington and Lee University Law School, and an LLM (Post-law degree) from Georgetown University Law School. Reggie was presented with an Honorary Doctorate from Southeastern University for his contribution to the community.

Chuck Ghoorah, Executive Vice President
of Sales and Marketing

Chuck has been with Cvent since inception and oversees the Sales and Marketing divisions, which have been growing Cvent's top-line sales more than 50 percent per year for the past five years. Chuck is a meetings industry expert and has spoken at over 100 conferences and tradeshows on event marketing and event registration. He has advised dozens of Fortune 500 organizations and large associations on strategic meeting planning and marketing. Prior to joining Cvent, Chuck was a corporate attorney with Hale and Dorr, where he specialized in venture capital financing and technology transactions. Previous to this, Chuck was an Associate Director at the Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ:ABCO) where he gave numerous presentations to hundreds of CEO's and senior executives as an Associate Director. He holds the distinction of becoming a national meeting speaker faster than anyone in that company's history. Chuck also worked as an attorney at Williams & Connolly, one of the top-rated litigation firms in the country.

Chuck's interest in event marketing was ignited at Duke University where he was elected class president three years in a row and was also selected as Special Events Chair for the Duke University Union. In these roles, he planned major indoor and outdoor events for as many as 4,000 attendees.

Chuck graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Duke University. He also received his MA in political science from Duke University Graduate School. He then earned his JD with honors from Duke University School of Law and served as an Articles Editor on the Duke Law Journal.

Thomas Kramer, Chief Financial Officer

Recently named one of the top 10 CFOs in Washington, D.C. by SmartCEO magazine, Thomas has led Cvent's Finance, Strategy and Administrative divisions since the company's inception. Thomas is an industry expert and leading decision-maker in the eCommerce arena. His industry knowledge and experience span management strategy, corporate finance, internet marketing, online customer service, and site logistics. While at the Boston Consulting Group, he created eCommerce strategy and management analyses for leading North American corporations and organizations, including a premier Wall Street investment bank, for whom he helped build a new online business unit. He managed Andersen Consulting's (now Accenture's) research efforts in eCommerce at their consumer products R&D facility, Smart Store Europe.

Thomas graduated with an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he studied Strategy and Finance. While at Harvard, Thomas co-wrote Amazon.com's eCommerce strategy case study, which is currently a part of the core curricula at Harvard and other top-ranked MBA programs. In addition, he was Editor-in-Chief of the Business School's newspaper, the Harbus. Thomas also graduated Cum Laude from the Norwegian School of Economics, with an MS in Economics. The Norwegian Trade Council awarded him a scholarship for his thesis in international strategic marketing. Thomas Kramer was recently named one of the top 10 CFOs in Washington DC by SmartCEO magazine.

David Quattrone, Chief Technology Officer

David Quattrone has been with Cvent since the company's founding and has offered a wealth of expertise in designing and developing large-scale Internet applications. David designed and supervised the development of Cvent's original beta product as well as 22 subsequent upgrades and redesigns. Prior to Cvent, David worked at First Consulting Group, a leading provider of information-based consulting, integration, and management services. David specialized in large-scale custom Internet/Intranet application design and development. David's clients included BlueCross/BlueShield Association, United States Postal Service, and MCI. He was also a Consultant with E.J. Bell Systems, a software integration and application development firm, where he helped found the company's Internet/Intranet development practice.

Prior to E.J. Bell Systems, David co-founded Network Resources Group, a New York based firm specializing in Internet software integration and application development. At Network Resources Group, David created the Online Gaming Review, an online publication subsequently acquired by Air Age publishing.

David graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's Management and Technology program, earning a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business, with concentrations in Strategic Management and Finance. David received his MBA from the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Dwayne Sye, Chief Information Officer

Dwayne has guided Cvent's cost-effective yet innovative use of technology since the company's founding. Dwayne helped design and oversee the development of Cvent's original product as well as its subsequent upgrades and redesigns. Today, he is responsible for Cvent's worldwide technology infrastructure and operations.

Dwayne brings broad technology experience and expertise in decision-support software and technology to Cvent. He previously worked at MicroStrategy, the leading worldwide provider of Intelligent E-Business software. At MicroStrategy, Dwayne provided consulting services to clients evaluating the company's next generation software products. Prior to MicroStrategy, Dwayne was the Founder and President of Secant Communications, a systems consulting company and a Senior Consultant for Ernst & Young, where he focused on developing sophisticated decision-support solutions for mid-market clients.

Dwayne graduated with a BSE in Systems Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Manjula Aggarwal, Senior Vice President of Client Services and Relationship Management

Manjula has been with Cvent since it's founding years and oversees Cvent's client services and relationship management divisions. Prior to joining Cvent, Manjula worked as a Manager for Ernst & Young Consulting Services. She has more than 10 years of experience in corporate operations, project management, and full lifecycle applications development. She has worked in all phases of client fulfillment. For Coca-Cola, she worked in conjunction with the CIO to evaluate the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the entire corporate Information Services division. As a Manager at Ernst and Young, she led a team of over a dozen developers in the development of e-commerce web sites for Carlson Wagonlit Travel, one of the leading travel companies in the world. Manjula has also led the design and development of several database applications for Fortune 1000 companies.

Manjula holds a BS in Management Information Science from Virginia Tech and also graduated Magna Cum Laude with her MS in Management Information Systems from George Mason University. Manjula is a certified Principal Lotus Notes Professional.

Eric Eden, Vice President of Marketing

Eric is responsible for Cvent's marketing campaigns, relationships, and strategy. Prior to joining Cvent in 2004, Eric managed marketing teams for 10 years at several publicly traded companies such as Network Solutions, Verio, and NeuStar. Eric's diverse marketing experience includes managing a 100 person outbound call center and a large direct marketing team, making him Cvent's in house expert in web site marketing and registration services. His interest in event registration comes from being a pioneer in the web site registration industry, where he led the marketing team at Network Solutions that grew the Internet from 100,000 .COM web sites in 1995 to over 10 million .COM web site registrations by 2003.

Throughout his career, Eric worked with a number of leading associations helping them build successful member events. Eric earned a B.A. in Mass Media Communication and Computer Programming with honors from the University of Akron.

Bharet Malhotra, Vice President of Sales

Bharet has been with Cvent almost since its founding. He has been one of the top producing sales executives throughout his tenure at the company. His clients include ADP, Yahoo, Marriott, Del Monte, Disney and Clorox. Bharet oversees the sales and marketing efforts of Cvent's newest product, the Cvent Supplier Network. He also manages the company's efforts in retaining its customers. In addition to his sales responsibilities, Bharet is also a frequent lecturer on leveraging technology in the new economy.

Before joining Cvent, Bharet was a manager at WorldCom, where he executed mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, alliances and partnerships throughout Europe and Asia. Bharet began his career as an investment banker at Salomon Smith Barney in New York City. At Salomon, he focused on helping public technology companies with mergers, acquisitions and raising capital.

Bharet holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Economics from Duke University. He was one of the few students to have successfully completed a triple major. While at Duke, Bharet was a nationally ranked tennis player and competed against world-ranked players on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tour. To this day he remains extremely dedicated to his alma mater. He was the top fund-raiser for his graduating class, has served on the Duke University Alumni Board of Directors, and is former president of the Engineering Alumni Association, the youngest person to have filled this role. Within the Washington, DC community, Bharet served on the Board of Directors of the Network of South Asian Professionals (NETSAP) and Washington Tennis and Education Foundation.

Brian Ludwig, Vice President of Sales

Brian joined Cvent in 2000, shortly after the company was founded. He is responsible for some of our most notable client acquisitions such as Fannie Mae, US Bancorp, Research in Motion, Rolls-Royce, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Goodwill and Penn State University. Brian has played a critical role in shaping Cvent's business model, product enhancement roadmap, marketing initiatives, and sales training and development. In his current role, he oversees the sales team's new business efforts.

Prior to Cvent, Brian worked as a Regional Sales Director for Lutron Electronics, an industry-leading lighting control systems manufacturer. Brian was called upon regularly as a technical speaker at Lutron's training institute.

Brian graduated with an MBA from University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith Business School, where he studied Entrepreneurship and Marketing. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.

Michael Lu, Vice President of Product Development

Michael joined Cvent in 2000 as a senior software architect. A specialist in large scale, high-performance, service-based application architecture, he currently oversees the development team. Michael designed and led the development of Cvent's first beta release as well as subsequent upgrades and major platform migrations.

Before he joined Cvent, Michael provided technical consulting services to Intelsat, a global satellite services provider. Prior to Intelsat, Michael worked as a principal consultant at Price Waterhouse, later PricewaterhouseCoopers. At Price Waterhouse, Michael led teams that designed and developed workflow management and financial applications for the public sector.

Michael holds an MS degree in Electrical Engineering and an MS in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University. He is a certified Microsoft professional, Java developer and PowerBuilder developer.

Daniel Lapus, Vice President of Product Management

Dan has been with Cvent since November 1999 and has been instrumental in the design and delivery of Cvent's product offering since the first beta release of the Event Management software. Today Dan is responsible for both the Product Management and Quality Assurance teams within Cvent's technology department. He remains heavily involved in the overall success of Cvent's current products offerings and spearheads the research and design efforts for new products and any enhancements to existing products.

Prior to Cvent, Dan worked as a technical consultant in the telecommunications industry. Dan worked with MCI WorldCom as a quality assurance manager for their local telephone billing system. Dan led and organized test procedures, ensured accurate testing coverage, and collaborated with team members and other leaders to provide superior product delivery. Previous to this, Dan worked as a technical analyst for AT&T and was responsible for software programming, software testing, and product support.

Dan holds a BBA in Computer Information Systems, with a concentration in Programming and Analysis, from James Madison University.

Anil Punyapu, Vice President of Enterprise Sales

Anil Punyapu is Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Cvent. He is one of Cvent's earliest employees and is currently stationed in Cvent's Los Angeles office. Anil manages Cvent's Enterprise Sales Team which focuses on selling enterprise meetings management solutions to large organizations. This includes shaping Cvent's enterprise meetings solutions, marketing initiatives, and sales training and process. In addition, Anil has been instrumental in the development and management of Cvent's relationship with its strategic partners – including meeting management companies, travel management companies and meeting industry associations such as MPI, AMA, IABC and HSMAI. Previously, Anil started and built Cvent's Chapter Sales Division, which focused on chapter-based associations.

Prior to Cvent, Anil co-founded Entertainment Ventures, a hedge fund of funds, based in the Washington DC area, and was instrumental in raising the initial investment into the entity. Prior to this, Anil was a Senior Associate at Friedman Billings Ramsey (FBR), a full-services investment firm based in the Washington DC area. During his time at FBR, Anil assisted in the development, fundraising and management of alternative investment vehicles such as hedge funds, venture funds, etc.

Anil graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree in Biochemistry. He also graduated with honors from University of Maryland School of Law, where he served on the Moot Court Board and participated in moot court competitions on behalf of University of Maryland.

Pete Floros, Vice President of Product Management

As Vice President of Product Management, Pete is responsible for product strategy and execution at Cvent. He is also one of the company's earliest employees and one of its original software engineers. Today, Pete works closely with major clients, partners and prospects to define product features and requirements. He has over 15 years of industry experience delivering large-scale software products and solutions.

Prior to Cvent, Pete worked at Artesia Technologies, a leader in enterprise Digital Asset Management solutions, where he focused on the implementation of Artesia's flagship product for numerous large and medium size enterprises. Pete's clients included Sony Electronics, Home Box Office (HBO) and The Getty Museum in Los Angeles. Pete also worked at First Consulting Group, a leading provider of information-based consulting services, where he developed custom applications for large clients including Blue Cross/Blue Shield, the Eurasia Foundation and the United States Postal Service.

Pete holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, with a concentration in Environmental Engineering from Virginia Tech.
