When Entourage yielded to Outlook for Mac, iCal and iOS device synchronization went missing; with Service Pack 1, it is back. (Outlook for Mac cannot yet synchronize calendars using CalDAV directly, though; CalDAV is used by MobileMe, Google Calendar and Yahoo! Calendar, for example.)
Also new in Outlook for Mac 2011 14.1 are support for server-side email rules with Exchange accounts and easier means to redirect and re-send messages.

Picture a plunger. Now make it big; twice as big or maybe three times.

It's downhill, and downhill steeply, in all directions but one. This, of course, is one too many.
So, castles built on a mountain's rocky spur may be separated from the hill by a moat. (That moat is called Halsgraben — neck moat — in German, by the way, because, presumably, the mountain and castle look like a body and its head from above, severed at the throat.) Now it's downhill in all directions, and unwelcome relatives are kept out more easily.
