A month for music and entertainment. The ever popular Cabaret Festival once again returns to the Mad Cow Theater bringing in outstanding talent for 17 days beginning April 29, 2011. Jazz on the Vinyard Green at Lakeridge Winery presents a weekend of jazz, food and wine and Jazzed in Sanford will hold it's monthly concert series. Both are just in time for Mother's Day.
This month enjoy Jazz Jams Uptown, the free concert series presented by WLOQ. Friday Night Live at Uptown Altamonte includes a free performance each Friday during the month of May.

Have you ever imagined being part of a Cirque du Soleil show? Here is your opportunity to show them what you've got.
Cirque du Soleil is seeking new talent for its current shows and upcoming creations and will be holding separate auditions for athletes and circus performers in Orlando on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 1 P.M. TO 9 P.M. Registration begins promptly at 12:30 P.M., latecomers will not be admitted. Call backs will be held the following day from 10 A.M. to 1 P.M.
Cirque du Soleil's is looking for athletes; artistic, acrobatic and rhythmic gymnastics, diving, trampoline, tumbling and other sports at the pinnacle of their art. Every year, the Casting team casts its nets far and wide to find hundreds of artists. Auditions are also held to discover and assess new artists.
All candidates must be at least 18 years of age and must bring a photo, resume and a demo video of their act or skills. Appropriate attire required. Bring grips if needed.
