The school year will soon be over and now is a wonderful time to start designing a
school memory book or
homeschool yearbook for your child. Creating your own school memory book is a great way to remember all the events that took place each year.
Now is also the time for final school photos. While most people concentrate on start of school photos I've found over the years that parents really enjoy seeing the change in their children from the start of school to the end. Whether you run a portrait studio or just want to photograph your own child, consider making
end of school photos a tradition as well.

Photojournalists Chris Hondros of Getty Images and contributing photographer for Vanity Fair Tim Hetherington were killed yesterday, April 20th, in Libya. Both were stuck during a mortar attack in Misrata, Libya yesterday while covering the rebel fighters. Michael Christopher Brown of Corbis and Guy Martin of Panos Pictures were also injured but are expected to recover.
Other photojournalists involved in the incident report that everyone was trying to get to a place of safety at the time of the attack. Both Hondros were giants in the field of photojournalism and they will be missed terribly. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families and friends. We also hope for a speedy recovery of Brown and Martin and the safety of the other photojournalists still covering the fighting in Libya.
