If you could build a sandcastle to look like anything in the world, what would it be? A skyscraper, a dragon, or maybe a replica of your favorite classic car? This weekend, at Sand in the City, you can witness some of the most spectacular sand structures you've ever laid your eyes on. 450 tons of sand will be shipped into Pioneer Courthouse Square, and competitors will go to great lengths to win the competition. Plus, it's all for charity.
Here are the details:
When: July 15 - 17, 2011
Where: Pioneer Courthouse Square (701 SW 6th Avenue)
What: Sand sculptures, interactive youth exhibits, live entertainment, and more to benefit Impact NW.
