Olympic Oval Facility

The Olympic Oval is home to the fastest ice in the world, attracting the best athletes from Canada and around the world to come train and compete in our world class facility. Every year we welcome thousands of visitors, public skaters, athletes and coahes to our building, located on the University of Calgary campus. The Olympic Oval building features:

  • 400M Oval ice for long track speed skating & public skating
  • 2 x international size rinks (30m X 60m) used for hockey, short track and other sports
• The world's fastest ice, made by the best ice makers in the world
