University of Calgary Senate Bursaries:
From the proceeds of the Chancellor's Challenge Golf Tournament. The number of bursaries granted increases with each successful year of the golf tournament. There will be 22 bursaries granted in Spring '08. The bursaries will be awarded to both undergraduate and graduate students in proportion to the U of C student population: 70% to undergrad students; 30% to grad students.

Chancellor's Graduate Medal
Awarded at Fall Convocation to the student in the Faculty of Graduate Studies who has shown outstanding scholastic achievement in any program leading to a Doctoral or Master's degree.

Muriel Kovitz Prize
University of Calgary Senate and Chancellor Emeritus Muriel Kovitz to commemorate Emeritus Mrs. Kovitz's term as Chancellor from December 1974 to 1978. Awarded to the student graduating from any undergraduate faculty with the highest overall grade point average in his/her final year at the University of Calgary.
Value: $12,000 and Medal

Awarded at June Convocation. Highest overall grade point average in final year at the University of Calgary. No application required. Eligible students will automatically be considered by the Academic Awards Committee for nomination.
