Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has arrived in Cairo Wednesday to attend the signing of the reconciliation agreement between Palestinian factions Fatah and Hamas later the same day.
The reconciliation agreement marks a step forward since the Palestinian rift four years ago when Hamas won elections in Gaza, whereas Fatah previously ruled the entire Palestinian territory.
