Many renters complain about their roommates. But if you're lucky enough to think your roommate is simply outstanding, encourage him or her to enter Apartments.com's third annual Roommate of the Year contest.
Starting April 25, entrants may submit a short video in one of four categories (The Loveable Compulsive, The Purr-fect Pet Owner, The Environmentalist, or The All Star Roomie) that makes the case for why they should be named America's Best Roommate in 2011.
The contest, which runs through June 13 at noon, offers a grand prize of $20,000 -- $10,000 cash plus a year's rent (of $10,000) -- plus four runner-up prizes of $500 each.
See contest rules and details for complete information.
