Egypt's general attorney, Abdel Magid Mahmoud, has imposed a temporary ban on the media from publishing or releasing any material related to the investigation of the Alexandria church attack.
Mahmoud claimed the ban is to prevent any evidence obtained from being distorted by the media.
The statement released by Mahmoud adds that evidence in the investigation so far shows that 20 suspects are behind the attacks. He went on to say that the minister of information had been notified of the media ban and the measures that this entails.
