Motorola Droid 3 Videos Pulled From YouTube

Tuesday June 7, 2011

Rumors have suggested that the Motorola Droid 3 -- the follow-up to Motorola's original Droid and the Droid 2 -- would make its debut this month. And while we haven't gotten an official look at the new phone, it seems as though a few Web surfers were able to get a sneak peek at the new device, thanks to videos leaked on a German phone blog.

The videos, which have since been pulled off of YouTube, showed what looked to be the Droid 3 in action. According to CNET, the clips were "brief but official-looking video tutorials." CNET notes that videos didn't show anything groundbreaking, but showed the phone having an HDMI port and a 8-megapixel camera.

The videos are no longer playable; clicking on them brings up a message that says "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Motorola Mobility."

T-Mobile is adding yet another smartphone to its lineup of 4G phones. The newest addition is the HTC Sensation 4G, which offers a high-speed 1.2-GHz dual-core processor, support for T-Mobile's 4G HSPA+ network, and an impressive collection of entertainment options.

The HTC Sensation 4G will be available on June 15 for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate. That price requires a two-year commitment to one of T-Mobile's voice and data plans.
