3 Arrested in Krista Dittmeyer Case

Three men are being held in jail on charges in connection with the death of a Maine mother whose baby was found inside her running car in a parking lot near a pond where her body was later found. Krista Dittmeyer's body was found four days after she disappeared in a snow-making pond at the Cranmore Mountain recreation facility.

Anthony Papile, 28, was charged with second degree murder and Trevor Ferguson, 23, and Michael Petelis, 28, were each charged with conspiracy to commit robbery in the case. Read More...

Lindsay Lohan Gets Plea Deal in Necklace Theft

Actress Lindsay Lohan's attorney entered a no contest plea on her behalf to a misdemeanor charge of stealing a $2,500 necklace in exchange for a sentence of 120 days in jail that she had already received for a probation violation. Due to jail overcrowding conditions there is a good chance Lohan will receive home monitoring rather than ever serving a day in jail.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner also extended Lohan's probation sentence for three years and ordered her to attend shoplifting counseling. Read More...

Misty Croslin Talks From Prison

Although investigators still believe that she is the key to finding out what happened to a missing 5-year-old Satsuma, Florida girl, Misty Croslin claims that she knows nothing about the disappearance. In a prison interview, Croslin said she had nothing to do with the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings.

A panel of potential jurors from the Tampa Bay area began the process of being selected for the first-degree murder trial of Casey Anthony. The location of the jury selection was not announced until early this morning because of unprecedented media interest in the trial of the mom accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.
