Diablo 3 Preview on NYT

Diablo 3 Screenshot Our friends over at The New York Times have posted a new preview of Diablo 3 for your perusal. It sounds like the game will launch with a robust system for trading items with other players, rather than having to do it all through chat the old-school way. Still no release date, but game director Jay Wilson is quoted saying, "We're definitely in the home stretch." I'd wager that we will be playing Diablo 3 sometime this Fall.

WoW: Rise of the Zandalari Trailer

The trolls of the Zandalar are making a comeback in Azeroth with the arrival of patch 4.1 for World of Warcraft. Today Blizzard released a trailer for the upcoming content, which includes the reintroduction of the Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman dungeons, as well as a new level-85 Stranglethorn quest line. There are also some intriguing changes to the Dungeon Finder on the way. The Rise of the Zandalari preview on the official site has more details on the patch.

Minecraft Beta 1.5 Goes Live

The ever-popular beta of Minecraft has reached version 1.5, which adds weather, statistics, and achievements to the game. There's a video on YouTube that let's you see the new rain, snow, and thunder effects in action. Developer Notch also recently revealed that they hope to launch Minecraft on November 11.
