Fantastic Pets Review (X360, Kinect)

Monday April 25, 2011

Don't let the box art fool you, Fantastic Pets isn't just a kiddie game for girls. It is a pet raising simulation similar to Kinectimals, but instead of just cats you can choose from cats, dogs, ponies, and lizards and even fantasy variations such as unicorns and dragons. Your pets are also customizable, so whether you want to make the prettiest dragon or the scariest looking unicorn ever (see, both boys and girls will like it), you can. The Kinect controls can be a bit finicky, but the game overall offers a lot of content and can be a lot of fun for animal lovers of any age. We have all of the details right here.

Portal 2 Review (X360)

Sunday April 24, 2011

Portal 1 started out as a sort of tech demo / proof of concept / bonus game packed in with the 2007 release of The Orange Box, but it quickly took on a life of its own. It was such a clever and fun puzzle game, and had such a great sense of humor that gamers loved it. It spawned memes that are still circulating on the 'net even today. In 2011, Portal 2 takes everything that made the first game great and amplifies it. It is a fully realized game with great gameplay, awesome puzzles, and an even better sense of humor. Portal 2 is simply awesome. Find out all of the details here in our full review.
