The Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center is a resource for our community: locally, for residents of Washington, DC, regionally, as the only Comprehensive Cancer Center in the greater metropolitan area, as well as nationally and internationally through the disseminating the findings of our research.

Lombardi is particularly dedicated to serving the population of the Washington, DC area. The District of Columbia has some of the highest cancer incidence and death rates in the country. Faculty at Lombardi are developing new ways to address the underlying causes of these health disparities.
