Department of Radiation Medicine

The Department of Radiation Medicine at Georgetown University Hospital is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through expert and compassionate clinical care. By providing research offerings, leadership training and cutting-edge technology, we are able to offer patients the most advanced cancer treatment options in one, multidisciplinary clinic.

As such, our expert team provides a variety of new cancer treatment procedures using the latest cancer treatment technology like CyberKnife Stereotactic Radiosurgery. Additionally, we provide radiation therapy to both inpatients and outpatients, and are an integral part of the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, one of the only National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the Washington area.
