Carlo Ancelotti: Mere minutes after Chelsea lost their final Premier game of the season away to Everton, the club sacked their manager Carlo Ancelotti in a corridor at Goodison Park. Though the Italian led the west London club to a Premier League and FA Cup double last year, and to second place in the league this year, his performance - particularly Chelsea's failure to reach the Champions League final - was deemed unacceptable.
